Collin Tanner is a 17-year old senior at Marysville High School. He has been battling Osteosarcoma, a very aggressive bone cancer, since 2016 – one week before starting 8″ grade. Collin has had over a dozen surgeries, including five open lung surgeries and surgery to replace his right knee and femur. The cancer originated in Collin’s right knee and distal femur and spread to his lungs and diaphragm. He has gone through multiple sessions of radiation and four chemotherapy regiments. He is now facing a fifth. Throughout all of this, Collin has remained steadfast in his optimism and has an attitude that continues to amaze us! Before his cancer battle, he was active in football, wrestling and lacrosse. He had fo give up most active sports due to his prosthetic knee and femur. He loves to spend time with his friends and travel. He is also quite the gamer! The Tanner family thanks you for your friendship, support and continued prayers — we could not be more grateful for the kindness we have been shown by our amazing community.
